Rock the Block
wins CreaTV Award

On January 18th at the beautiful California theater in downtown San Jose, Lon Lopez’s documentary about the San Jose local music scene entitled Rock the Block: The Story of the Cactus Club was given the award for Filmmaker for a Feature film.  It was a glamorous affair with a collection of local artists, producers and politicians, as well as legendary actor Ed Asner as the guest of honor.  The CreaTV awards were created to showcase and recognize the talents the south bay has to offer as well as raise awareness of local issues and causes.
