THE BOOTY CALL

Lon Lopez and the Booty Call first came to be in early 2001 for a special one night show.  It was supposed to be a one night stand, but it turned into a booty call.  Local San Jose Singer, Lopez, got together a bunch of his musician friends,  put together a set, rocked the local pub and a band was born.  Soon after, their first release Pop Rock, Soul was recorded and the band began playing throughout California.

Due to their many influences, The Booty Call has been compared to many different artists such as Sugar Ray, Blink 182, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz, and even the Doobie Brothers.  Blending many styles, Lon Lopez and the Booty Call create their own brand of catchy rock they like to call, Pop Rock Soul.

Known for their solid musicianship and strong songs the band is also a powerhouse live.  Bringing high energy and a solid stage presence, forged from over ten years sweating in the clubs, the Booty Call is prepared to rock any house, any time.

But most importantly, the band is FUN.  Longtime friends, The Booty Call makes every show a party, and everyone leaves happy.  Sometimes even finding Booty Calls of their own.
